On March 17th, my favorite band is coming to Tempe! Flogging Molly, Metrick, The Bollox, and the Keltic Cowboys are putting on a St. Paddy's Day concert.
My mom took me to see Flogging Molly for the first time when I was 12 and it was the best concert I have ever seen. They put on an amazing show.
Last year for Irish Fest in St. Paul Minnesota they put on a free concert with the Dropkick Murphys (my other favorite band) and it was legendary. I cannot wait to see them again on the 17th.
Don't expect to see me at school that day. Actually.. it's St. Paddy's Day; don't expect to see me the day after either.

My mom is from Ireland, and she thinks that we should get the day after St. Patrick's Day off. Any true Irishman (or woman) shouldn't be able to get up early enough after the hard core festivities, if you know what I mean.

Oh definatly! I haven't been to school on St. Paddy's or the day after sicne I was 14.
