Track and Field

Track started February 8, along with a couple other of the Spring sports. I don't know about the turn out for try outs in the others, but Track seems to be very popular.

Over 10 Freshman showed up on Monday, but we expected that. Lots of them show up, but usually a good amount drop out after the first week of practice. Last year, there were 9 newbies to the school.

What is surprising is the amount of rookies that showed up from other grades. They helped us keep our large numbers.

Unfortunately, all of our Seniors are gone. Those guys and girls made up a good portion of those who went to State and those who were on the relay teams. There are only a few Juniors from last year here.

We still have a lot of people though. There will be some problems again with uniforms. The old ones from years and years ago will have to go to the Freshmeat. Oh well, I'm a Sophomore, so I don't care.
