...The old man is snoring. I wish I was the one snoring right now though. Whole districts up north are getting snow days; some are getting snow weeks!
There were a whole bunch of rumors that school would be let out early for everyone, or just some people who lived in hard to reach places because of the flooding. Just now, Mrs. Jacobson put those rumors to rest. But Whispering Ranch students couldn't even get to school because of this amazing rain, and it is only supposed to get heavier.
Hopefully, by some miracle of whatever deity you believe in or just a random act of nature, we get rain like this more often. It is refreshing, exciting, and instills the love of the outdoors again to us crusty, dusty Arizonans.

I know, I heard like ten people this morning talking about getting let out early. It seemed like it could happen, given the weather, but I guess not.
